Kawneer KW137725-29 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What is the Kawneer KW137725-29 Arch Classic CO-9 pull package, and what door does it go on?
It's a genuine Kawneer service replacement pull package from the Arch Classic CO-9 family, built for double acting doors and finished in Black. Double acting means the door swings both directions, so the pull set is configured for that swing rather than a single-swing entrance. It's a commercial part, intended for Kawneer door assemblies already using Arch Classic CO-9 hardware.
2) Can I use the KW137725-29 pull package on a standard single-swing storefront door?
No. The KW137725-29 is purpose-built for double acting door configurations. If your entrance is a single-acting swing door, this isn't the right package for it, and you'd want the Arch Classic pull configured for that application instead.
3) Is the KW137725-29 an OEM Kawneer part or an aftermarket copy?
It is an authentic Kawneer service replacement component, model KW137725-29, made to original equipment standards. That matters on Kawneer entrances because the pull mounting hole pattern is proprietary to the door series, and an OEM service part keeps the fit and finish consistent with the rest of the opening.
4) I manage a building with Kawneer entrances in Black. Will this match my other doors?
The KW137725-29 comes in Black, matching the standard Arch Classic CO-9 appearance used across commercial storefront and entrance doors. If your other openings carry Arch Classic CO-9 pulls in Black, this replacement keeps the entry line consistent. If they're a different Kawneer pull family or a different finish, it will not match visually.
5) Does the Kawneer KW137725-29 work with exit hardware on the door?
It is classified as an exit device part, suited to integration with compatible Kawneer exit hardware systems, so it can serve as the pull side of a door carrying Kawneer exit devices. It is the pull package only, not a latch or exit device.
6) Is the Arch Classic CO-9 pull package rated for high traffic entrances?
It's a commercial-grade part built for double acting doors in high-traffic commercial environments, and it's specified for uses like office building entrances, retail storefronts, schools, healthcare access doors, and municipal buildings. It is not a residential-duty pull.
