Kawneer KW137726-29 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) What is the Kawneer KW137726-29 Arch Classic CO-12 pull package used for?
It's a door pull package from Kawneer's Arch Classic line, in the CO-12 pull configuration, supplied for double acting doors and finished in Black. It's a genuine Kawneer service part, meaning it's sold as a replacement component for existing Kawneer commercial entrance doors rather than a universal aftermarket pull.
2) Will the KW137726-29 pull work on a single acting door?
No. This package is built for double acting doors, which swing both directions, and the pull set is configured for that application. If your leaf is single acting, you need the single acting version of the Arch Classic pull package rather than KW137726-29.
3) What finish does KW137726-29 come in, and can I get it in another color?
Black only under this part number. The CO-12 pull package is a single configuration: Arch Classic, double acting, Black finish. Other Kawneer finishes are separate part numbers, so match the number to the finish already on the rest of your entrance if you're keeping a run of doors consistent.
4) Can I use this pull package on an exit door with a panic device?
Yes. Kawneer supplies the CO-12 pull package as an exit device part, so it is used on egress door assemblies where the pull serves the outside of the opening. The pull itself is the trim; any exit device, rod, or latch hardware on the door is ordered separately.
5) Is KW137726-29 an OEM Kawneer part or an aftermarket equivalent?
OEM. It's carried as a Kawneer service part, so it's the same component Kawneer specifies for its own entrance systems. For property managers maintaining an existing Kawneer storefront, that's usually the deciding factor: the hole pattern and appearance match what's already on the door instead of requiring new prep.
6) Is this a commercial-duty pull or a residential one?
Commercial. Kawneer catalogs KW137726-29 as commercial door hardware, and the intended openings are office building entrances, school entry and egress doors, healthcare access points, retail storefronts, municipal buildings, warehouse access doors, and multi-tenant common areas.
