Vial count is the only choice to make. The 4-vial version, MPN 935AB4V, reads 0, 90, 45 and 30 degrees, so you can set the common conduit bend angles directly off the level. The 1-vial version, MPN 935AB1V, gives you a single vial for plumb/level checks. If you bend offsets and saddles regularly, order the 4-vial; if you only need to confirm a run is straight, the single vial does it.
2) Will a Klein ACCU-BEND level stay put on conduit while I'm bending it?
Two things hold it. Rare earth magnets set in a patented Magnet Track grip any metal surface, and the track keeps the magnets from popping out in use. There's also a thumb screw so you can clamp the level onto the conduit and watch the angle with both hands on the bender. The underside is V-grooved, so it seats on round conduit or pipe instead of rocking on the crown.
3) Will this level work on PVC or plastic conduit?
The vials and the V-groove work on any round conduit or pipe, but the magnets only bite on ferrous metal. On PVC, aluminum or stainless you have to use the thumb screw to clamp the level on, or hold it by hand. For EMT and rigid steel the magnets alone will hold it.
