Klein Tools Journeyman Wire Pulling Gloves

Two sizes: medium is part number 40232 and large is 40233. They're a unisex cut, so there's no separate men's/women's sizing to sort out when you're buying for a crew.

No. The Journeyman wire pulling gloves are not flameproof or fire retardant and must not be exposed to open flame or sparks. They're also not heat resistant. For welding, torch work, or anything with sparks, use a dedicated FR or leather welding glove instead.

No. These are not insulated gloves. They're a fabric pulling glove for grip and hand protection while dragging wire, not rubber insulating gloves. Any work on energized conductors needs ASTM-rated rubber insulating gloves with leather protectors.

The palm, fingertips, and thumb are reinforced and there's an added grip surface, which is the wear area when you're hand-over-hand on a pull rope or cable. A hook and loop wrist closure plus a neoprene cuff keeps them from sliding off mid-pull. There is no knuckle strap and no separate thumb patch, so they're built for grip and dexterity rather than impact protection.

Yes, the index finger is touchscreen capable, so you can answer a call or mark off a punch list without pulling the glove. Useful if you're documenting circuits on a tablet between pulls.

No, these gloves are not machine washable. They're also unlined, so if you need to clean them, spot clean and air dry rather than running them through a wash cycle.

Not really. The Journeyman wire pulling gloves are unlined and not insulated, built slim for dexterity rather than warmth. For cold-weather outdoor work you'd want a lined or insulated glove; keep these for pulls where feel and grip matter.

They're cut slim specifically for dexterity, so you keep feel for conductors and small fasteners. The trade-off is no knuckle padding, so they aren't an impact glove. For reference on pack size, a pair measures 9.9 x 3.6 x 1.35 inches, in black.
