Kraloy FSED050710 PVC 1-Gang Deep FSE Gang Box
The Kraloy FSED050710 PVC 1-Gang Deep FSE Gang Box is a single-gang, deep-body PVC device box engineered for rough-in wiring on PVC conduit systems. Featuring a combination hub sized for 1/2", 3/4", and 1" conduit, this FSE-series box measures 4.58" x 2.82" x 2.76", giving installers extra interior volume for wire routing, device termination, and splice management. Its non-metallic PVC construction makes it a practical choice for PVC conduit installations where corrosion resistance, light weight, and ease of field cutting are priorities over traditional metallic boxes.
Key Features
- Trade Size: Combination hub accepts 1/2", 3/4", and 1" conduit for flexible field connections without separate reducer bushings.
- Deep Single-Gang Design: Overall dimensions of 4.58" x 2.82" x 2.76" provide added interior depth for device wiring, splices, and conductor fill.
- Durable PVC Construction: Molded PVC body resists corrosion and moisture intrusion and is lighter than comparable metallic boxes, easing handling and overhead installation.
- FSE Series Compatibility: Built as part of Kraloy's F Series lineup for consistent fit and finish alongside other Kraloy PVC conduit and fitting products.
- Combination Hub Design: One hub accommodating three conduit sizes (1/2", 3/4", and 1") simplifies stocking and reduces the number of unique fittings needed on a job.
- Single-Gang Configuration: Sized for one device or switch, suited to standard residential and light commercial device layouts.

Kraloy FSED050710 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) Will the Kraloy FSED050710 box connect to 3/4 inch PVC conduit, or do I need a reducer?
No reducer needed. The FSED050710 has a combination hub sized for 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch conduit, so a 3/4 inch PVC run lands straight into the hub. That is also why one box can cover several conduit sizes on the same job instead of stocking three different boxes.
2) Can I use a PVC FSE box like the Kraloy FSED050710 instead of a metal FS box?
On a PVC conduit system, yes, and that is what it is built for. The body is molded PVC, so it resists corrosion and moisture and weighs less than a comparable metallic box, which matters on overhead work. If your raceway is metallic conduit and you are bonding through the box, a metal FS body is the right call instead, since a non-metallic box carries no equipment ground path.
3) Is the Kraloy FSED050710 a deep box, and what are its dimensions?
It is the deep-body version of the single-gang FSE box, measuring 4.58 x 2.82 x 2.76 inches overall. The extra body volume is what you want when you are landing a device plus several splices in the same box rather than a single switch leg.
4) How many devices will fit in the FSED050710 FSE box?
One. The FSED050710 is a single-gang box, sized for one switch or receptacle. For two devices side by side you need a two-gang FSE body instead, not this one.
5) Is the Kraloy FSED050710 suitable for exposed or underground PVC conduit runs?
Yes. Kraloy lists the FSE box for PVC conduit raceway systems including underground and exposed runs, along with residential and light commercial rough-in on new construction and remodels. The PVC body is what makes it workable in damp and corrosive locations.
6) Does the Kraloy FSED050710 come with a cover?
The FSED050710 is the box body only, ordered as model FSED050710. You specify the FSE cover separately to match the device you are installing, whether that is a switch, duplex receptacle or blank plate.
7) What is the exact part number to order the Kraloy deep one-gang FSE PVC box?
Order Kraloy FSED050710. It is the single model on the FSE deep one-gang combination-hub box, so there is no finish or size choice to specify beyond the part number itself.
