The 83279 replacement cylinder uses the Kwikset KW1 keyway, so it takes standard KW1 keys, the same profile on most Kwikset residential locks. Being SmartKey, you don't have to match keys at the counter anyway: with a working key in hand you can rekey the cylinder yourself to any other KW1 key.
