The 2032 Pacer is built for aluminum frames with a minimum 1-3/4 inch transom and a 4 inch tube. If your header is shallower than 1-3/4 inches, or the tube is less than 4 inches, the cylinder will not go in and you need a different closer type. It mounts concealed in the frame, not on the door face.
2) Do I have to specify handing when ordering an LCN 2032 concealed closer?
Yes, handing is a required choice. The 2032 is ordered either right hand or left hand, and the default is right hand. A concealed in-frame closer with a single lever arm and track is not field-reversible the way a surface closer is, so get the door swing right before you order.
