1) Do connectors come with the LTMES08G-A conduit coil?
No. The LTMES08G-A ships as conduit only, a 25 foot grey coil of 2-1/2 inch liquid tight flexible metallic conduit. You order the liquidtight fittings separately, and they have to be 2-1/2 inch trade size to match. Budget two fittings per run minimum, one at each termination.
2) When should I use liquid tight flexible metallic conduit instead of rigid or EMT?
Liquidtight flexible metallic conduit is what you reach for where a rigid raceway cannot go: the final connection to a motor, pump, rooftop unit, compressor or any equipment that vibrates or has to be pulled for service, and in wet or damp locations where a plain flex would let water in. EMT and rigid are the right choice for the long fixed runs; the LTMES08G-A 2-1/2 inch flex is for the last few feet and the offsets.
3) Will 2-1/2 inch liquidtight flex bend tight enough for a cramped equipment connection?
A 2-1/2 inch flex is a large-diameter conduit and its minimum bend radius is correspondingly big, so it needs real room at the termination. Plan the whipping distance before you cut. If the equipment landing is tight, the usual fix is a longer approach run in rigid or EMT with a shorter piece of the 2-1/2 inch flex at the end rather than trying to turn the flex in a small space.
4) Is this conduit grey or black, and does the color matter on a job?
The LTMES08G-A is grey. Color on liquidtight is generally a jacket identification choice rather than a performance one, so if a facility standardizes on grey jacket for power feeders and another color elsewhere, this matches the grey spec. If your drawing calls out a specific jacket color, grey is what you get here.
