1) Will a Littelfuse KLKR fuse fit a standard Class CC fuse holder?
Yes. The KLKR Series is built to the Class CC package, so it drops into any Class CC fuse block or holder with the rejection feature. That rejection design is deliberate, it keeps a non-current-limiting fuse out of a circuit specified for Class CC protection. All ratings from 0.5A through 20A share the same 600V Class CC body.
2) Can I use the KLKR fuse on a 300VDC circuit, or is it AC only?
Both. KLKR fuses are rated 600VAC and 300VDC. You can apply them on any AC system at or below 600V and any DC system at or below 300V, but do not put them on a DC bus above 300V, the DC rating is the limit that governs there.
3) Is a fast-acting Class CC fuse like the KLKR right for a motor circuit, or do I need time-delay?
Fast-acting is the wrong choice ahead of a motor. The KLKR opens quickly under overload, which is what you want protecting SCRs and other solid-state electronics, but a motor's inrush will nuisance-open it. For motor branch circuits, specify a time-delay Class CC fuse instead and keep the KLKR for control-panel electronics and general branch circuits that do not see heavy starting current.
