Yes. The ED54 kit ships with the PB2500 panic bar in the 33 inch length, which is the size Lockey specifies for 36 inch doors. If your leaf is 48 inches wide, you need the 42 inch bar length instead, not this one. The edge style shield itself adjusts across a 28 to 54 inch width range, so the shield covers openings wider than the bar it ships with, but match the bar to the door width first.
