1) Is the Metallics BTT13 the right bit for setting 1/2 inch concrete anchors?
No. The BTT13 drills a 5/8 inch hole, which is the hole size for 5/8 inch diameter anchors (wedge anchors, sleeve anchors, drop-ins are sized hole-to-anchor). For 1/2 inch anchors you need a 1/2 inch bit instead. Match the bit diameter to the anchor diameter, not to the shank size.
2) What is the Metallics part number to order for a 5/8 inch by 18 inch masonry bit?
Order Metallics BTT13. That designation covers the extra-long masonry bit, 5/8 inch diameter, 18 inches overall, with a 1/2 inch shank, one per pouch.
3) Can I run the BTT13 in hammer mode?
A straight 1/2 inch shank bit can be run in a hammer drill (rotary hammer-drill with a chuck), which is normal practice for masonry bits of this type. What it cannot do is go into a dedicated SDS rotary hammer, because that tool accepts only SDS shanks. In plain rotation-only drilling it will cut masonry but much more slowly.
