Full Mortise Hinges
Full mortise hinges come in a variety of metals, finishes, sizes, and weights to meet all your load bearing and security applications. They include two, three, and five knuckle styles, swing clear hinges, wide throw hinges, anchor hinges, electric hinges, institutional hinges, and pivots.
The most common application is a flush door/frame/wall condition using a hollow metal frame with a standard hollow metal or wood door which is flush or 1/16" inset from the face of the frame, with a wall which is either flush (or inset from the
face of the frame. Recommended to hang door for 180˚ swing: Full Mortise Hinge. The same hinge could be used with a wood or aluminum frame provided the door/frame/wall conditions are flush.
Five Knuckle Heavy Weight Full Mortise Series
- Heavy weight hinges should be used on all extra heavy doors or those exposed to high frequency use
- T4A3386- Stainless steel base or available in brass base material polished
- T4A3786- Steel base material
- For Beveled Edge, where doors are beveled on hinge side, specify T4A4386 or T4A4786
