The shell is G90 galvanized steel with a powder coat finish for corrosion resistance, and it is a surface mount unit, so it goes on the face of the wall rather than flush into it.

The enclosure is configured with a 1 inch hub, so it takes standard 1 inch conduit at the hub opening. Cable entry is rated for overhead or underground, so the same socket works for a service drop coming in from above or a lateral coming up from below.
3) Will a 20A Milbank meter socket handle a 200 amp residential service?
No, and this is the most common mistake made with these. The 20 continuous ampere rating here is a transformer-rated (CT metered) socket: the current transformers do the measuring out in the service equipment and only small secondary leads land in this box. That is why the line and load side terminals only take 12 to 10 AWG wire. It is not a self-contained socket and service conductors do not pass through it. For a self-contained 200A residential service you need a 200A socket, not this one.
4) What wire size do the terminals in this Milbank UC socket accept?
Single mechanical terminals, rated 12 to 10 AWG on both the line side and the load side. That is the CT secondary lead range, so size your control wiring accordingly. Nothing larger will land in these lugs. There is a separate ground lug for the equipment ground.
