The 20A rating and the 12-10 AWG line and load wire ranges are what you would expect downstream of instrument transformers, not on a direct service lateral. If you need to meter a full residential service directly, this is the wrong socket.
2) What wire size can I land in the Milbank 6 terminal ringless meter socket?
Both line and load terminals accept 12 to 10 AWG, using single mechanical lugs. Anything larger than 10 AWG will not terminate in this base, so keep your CT secondary and load conductors inside that range.
3) Can the UC7532-XL ringless meter socket be mounted outdoors?
