The terminal count is the only difference across the three. Milbank's CECHA ringless sockets are ordered as CE136-CECHA (6 terminal), CE138-CECHA (8 terminal), and CE1313-CECHA (13 terminal). Everything else carries across: 20 continuous amp rating, 600V AC, 60 Hz, single position, plain top, Type 3R enclosure. Match the terminal count to what the utility's metering drawing calls out for the service being metered.
2) Will a 20 amp meter socket work for a 200 amp residential service?
No. The Milbank CE13-CECHA socket is rated 20 continuous amps because it is a transformer-rated (instrument-rated) socket, not a self-contained 200A socket. The meter reads through current transformers rather than carrying the full service current. For a self-contained 200A service you need a 200A-rated self-contained socket instead. If the utility drawing calls for CTs and a test switch, this is the right family (CT20).
3) Does this Milbank socket include a main breaker or bypass?
No main breaker and no bypass provision. It is a straight single position metering enclosure, zero breakers, zero receptacles. Overcurrent protection has to come from a separate disconnect or panel downstream, and there is no lever bypass, so the utility will handle de-energizing through the test switch arrangement rather than a bypass handle.
