That's exactly the application it's built for. The U5906-X carries six meter positions and six branch circuits, wired 1-phase at up to 240 volts AC, 60 Hertz, with a 100 continuous ampere rating. Each position uses a 4-terminal jaw configuration, which is the standard single-phase residential meter socket arrangement. If your building is three-phase or needs 5-jaw network metering, this is the wrong socket.
2) Does the Milbank U5906-X come with a main breaker installed?
