1) Will this grounding hub fit the NSi bronze ground clamp I already have on the water pipe?
Yes. The G4 Series hub is built as an interchangeable adapter that swaps onto any NSi bronze grounding clamp, so an existing NSi bronze clamp can be converted to take rigid conduit without pulling the clamp off the pipe.
2) Does the G4 hub include the ground clamp, or do I order that separately?
The G4 is the hub only, an adapter that mounts to an NSi bronze grounding clamp. If you are starting from scratch on a pipe, you need the bronze clamp as well; if you already have an NSi bronze clamp in place, the hub is all you add.
3) Will a 3/4 inch grounding hub take 1 inch rigid conduit?
No. The 3/4 inch G42 is threaded for 3/4 inch trade size. For 1 inch rigid, order the G43. Trade size on a threaded hub has to match the conduit; there is no adjustment in the thread.
4) Can I rotate the hub to line up conduit coming in at an angle?
The bronze hub turns a full 360 degrees around the clamp, so the threaded opening can be aimed wherever the rigid conduit runs. Handy on tight pipe chases where the clamp position is fixed by the pipe, not the raceway.
5) Is a bronze grounding hub okay in a damp or corrosive location?
