The JWN4 stamped wing nut is a 10-24 nut, so it threads onto any #10-24 machine screw or threaded rod. The 24 threads per inch is the coarse UNC pitch for a #10 screw, so it will not run onto a #10-32 fine thread screw. Threading follows ANSI/ASME B18.17.

Allow roughly an inch of swing room. The wings spread 0.85 to 0.91 inch across, stand 0.41 to 0.47 inch tall, and the nut body base diameter runs 0.47 to 0.53 inch.
