NUVO Lighting 60-359 – Frequently Asked Questions

    1) What bulbs does the Empire 6 light chandelier take, and are they included?
Six medium base (E26) lamps, A19 shape, rated up to 60W each on 120V. Bulbs are not included, so order them separately. Incandescent technology fixture, and dimming depends on the lamp you install, so if you are putting it on an existing dimmer, choose bulbs that are rated dimmable.
    2) Can I hang this chandelier in a covered porch or bathroom?
No. The Empire 60-359 is an indoor fixture with a dry location rating only. Keep it out of covered porches, breezeways, and anywhere it can see moisture or condensation, including directly over a tub or shower. For those spots you need a damp or wet rated fixture.
    3) Is the NUVO 60-359 safety listed for commercial jobs?
It carries a cULus safety listing and is RoHS compliant, so it is acceptable for inspection on 120V branch circuits in the US and Canada in dry indoor locations. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead, which matters if you are specifying for a school or other facility with a Prop 65 notice requirement.
    4) What comes in the box with the 60-359 chandelier?
One 48 inch chain and 12 feet of supply wire ship with the fixture. Lamps are not included, so plan on six A19 medium base bulbs. A canopy-appropriate ceiling box and any extra chain for a taller drop are also on you.
