The Patton mini pendant is rod mounted and adjusts to a maximum overall height of 48.5 inches. It ships with two 6 inch rods and two 12 inch rods, so you build the drop from those pieces plus the canopy and fixture body, which is 11.38 inches tall on its own. For a longer drop than 48.5 inches you would need additional rods beyond what comes in the box.

Only in a dry location. The Patton pendant is rated for dry indoor locations, which rules out a shower area, a covered porch, or any spot that sees steam or splash. Over an island or a dining table is fine. For a damp-rated spot you need a fixture carrying a damp or wet location listing.

It takes one medium E26 base A19 lamp up to 60W, and no bulb is supplied. Any standard screw-base A19 within that wattage works, including LED equivalents. Buy the lamps separately if you are ordering these in quantity for a build or a turn.

It carries a cETLus listing, so it is certified for both US and Canadian installation. It is also RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead, which matters if you are supplying into California multi-family or institutional work.

At 3.3 pounds the Patton mini pendant is well under the 50 pound limit a standard listed ceiling outlet box carries, so no fan brace or added support is needed. It is a rod mount to the ceiling only; it is not made for sloped adapter or chain hanging.

The Patton pendant comes with 12 feet of wire, 144 inches, which covers any drop the rod kit supports and leaves slack for making up the splice in the box. Rods cap the fixture at 48.5 inches overall, so the wire is never the limiting factor.
