It carries a cETLus safety listing, covering both US and Canadian requirements, and it is RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead, which matters if you are specifying into a California project with disclosure requirements.

A flush mount sits tight to the ceiling, 6 inches of drop here, and is the right call for 8-foot ceilings, hallways, closets, and anywhere a taller fixture would be in the way. Semi-flush hangs lower on a short stem and suits 9-foot-plus ceilings or a dining area where you want the fixture to read as a feature. At 16.875 inches across, the Kettle gives decorative presence without the drop.
