NUVO Lighting 60-7268 – Frequently Asked Questions

    1) Can the NUVO Sommerset 60-7268 flush mount go in a bathroom or over a shower?
The Sommerset 2-light flush mount carries a Damp location rating and is listed for indoor use, so a bathroom ceiling outside the shower or tub enclosure is fine. It is not wet-rated, so skip it directly over a shower, in an open-air porch, or anywhere it would take direct water. It is cULus listed.
    2) What bulbs do I need to order with the NUVO 60-7268 Sommerset 2-light flush mount?
Bulbs are not included. You need two A19 lamps with an E26 medium base, rated 60W max each, on a 120V circuit. Buy them by the case if you are doing a whole building, because every fixture needs two.
    3) Is the supply wire long enough to reach my ceiling junction box?
The fixture comes with 6 inches of lead wire, which is enough to make up inside a standard octagon or round ceiling box. If your box is recessed or you are working off an extension, plan on splicing in the box rather than pulling the leads down.
    4) Does the NUVO 60-7268 come in other finishes?
Matte black is the finish offered under part number 60-7268, paired with clear glass. If you are standardizing a building on one look, order all units to that same part number so the finish matches across openings.
    5) Is there a Prop 65 disclosure on this NUVO flush mount?
Yes. The Sommerset flush mount is flagged for lead under California Proposition 65. If you are buying for a California jurisdiction or a public institution with disclosure requirements, note that on the submittal.
    6) Does the Sommerset 60-7268 have selectable color temperature?
No. CCT selection is not a feature here. Color temperature comes entirely from the A19 lamps you choose, so if you want 2700K in apartments and 4000K in common areas you handle that by lamp selection, not a switch on the fixture.
How fast can I get the NUVO Lighting 60-7268 delivered?
