NUVO Lighting 60-7629 Intersection, 1-Light, Mini Pendant, Polished Nickel with Clear Glass

It takes one medium base E26 lamp, up to 60W, and no bulb is included. The listed lamp shape is T10, the slim tubular style that suits the clear glass since the filament stays visible. Order lamps separately if you are fitting out a run of these.

Dry location only, indoor rated. That rules out covered exterior porches and breezeways, and it rules out anywhere it will see steam or splash, including directly over a tub or shower or in an unventilated bath. For a bath or a covered entry you need a damp or wet rated fixture instead.

Dimming is lamp dependent. The pendant itself has no driver or integrated LED, it is a line voltage 120V incandescent style socket, so whether it dims comes down to the E26 lamp you install and the dimmer you pair with it. A standard incandescent lamp on a compatible dimmer will dim; a non-dimmable LED retrofit will not.

The Intersection 1-light mini pendant carries a cULus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian installations. It is a 120V, ceiling mounted, dry location indoor fixture, so it suits corridors, lobbies, and multi-family kitchens where a dry location listed decorative pendant is acceptable.

The glass shade measures W 3.54 by H 6.50 inches and the fixture is only 3.5 inches in diameter, so this is a small single light pendant, not an island fixture. Over a counter or island, installers typically run them in a row of two or three on 24 to 30 inch centers. One alone covers a very small area, such as over a sink or a reception desk edge.

Construction is steel with glass, finished in polished nickel with a clear glass shade. Polished nickel is a bright reflective plated finish, so like any high polish metal it shows fingerprints and water spots more readily than a brushed or matte finish. The clear glass also means the lamp is fully visible, so choose the bulb with appearance in mind.

Yes. Lead is identified as a California Proposition 65 chemical for this fixture. If you are specifying for a California project, that disclosure needs to carry through to your submittal package.

No. There is no CCT selectable switch, because the fixture has no integrated LED at all. It is an E26 socket fixture, so color temperature is set entirely by the lamp you choose, which makes it easy to match the rest of a building when you standardize on one lamp.

It belongs to NUVO's Intersection collection, in an industrial style with polished nickel and clear glass. If other openings in the space already use Intersection pieces in polished nickel, this 1-light mini pendant is the matching small scale fixture for the group.
