NUVO Lighting 62-1197 LED Landscape Flood, 6W, Matte Black Finish, 3000K, 120V

Wet location rated and cULus safety listed, so the NUVO 62-1197 landscape flood can go in exposed outdoor positions that take direct rain or irrigation spray, not just under a soffit. The housing is die-cast aluminum, which is what holds up in those spots over time.

This one is 120V line voltage. If your site already has a 12V low-voltage landscape transformer and buried 12/2 cable, the 62-1197 is the wrong fixture for that run, you'd need a 12V fixture instead. It goes on a standard 120V branch circuit.

No dimming. The 62-1197 is a non-dimmable integrated LED, so wiring it to a dimmer will give you flicker or buzz, and can shorten the life of the fixture. Switch it on a plain relay, photocell, or timer instead. Colour temperature is fixed at 3000K as well, there is no CCT selector switch on this one.

The LED is integrated, not a replaceable bulb, so there's no socket and no relamping. Rated life is 50,000 hours, which on a dusk-to-dawn schedule of roughly 12 hours a night is a bit over 11 years before the fixture is replaced as a unit. For property managers standardizing across a site, that's the maintenance model to plan around: no lamp stock, fixture-level replacement.

640 lumens out of 6 watts, at 3000K warm white with an 80 CRI. That output is accent-level: a tree uplight, a sign wash, a facade or shrub bed feature, a short entry path. It is not area lighting. If you're trying to light a parking bay or a loading area, size up to a proper area or wall-pack fixture rather than multiplying these.

Mounting covers pole, post, and plate, so it can sit on a landscape ground stake post, a pole, or be plate-mounted to a flat surface such as a wall or a deck cap. At 0.62 lbs it's light enough that the mounting point is rarely the constraint, but the 120V feed has to be brought to that location.

It measures 5.50 inches in length, 3.25 inches in height, and 2.45 inches in diameter. That's a small head, so it tucks into a planting bed, behind a shrub, or on a narrow ledge without reading as a fixture during the day. Allow clearance beyond those numbers for the aiming swing and the mount itself.

3000K warm white is the usual residential and hospitality landscape colour, so it will sit alongside existing 3000K fixtures. It will read noticeably yellower next to 4000K or 5000K commercial-looking heads. This fixture cannot be adjusted to match, the colour temperature is fixed, so check the CCT on what's already in the ground before mixing them on the same elevation.

No. PAR16 describes the size and shape of the LED head, not a socket. The light source is an integrated LED with no lamp base, so you can't fit a PAR16 halogen or a screw-in LED PAR into it. If you specifically need a fixture you can relamp with your own PAR16, this isn't that fixture.

Matte black is the only finish offered on the 62-1197. On a die-cast aluminum body that's the finish that disappears into mulch and foliage, which is generally what you want on a landscape accent head. If your site standard is bronze, this one won't match it.

RoHS compliant, and it carries a California Proposition 65 warning for lead. For institutional and government procurement that has to document both, those are the two answers you need on the submittal. Safety listing is cULus.
