NUVO Lighting 62-1332 Jess, LED Large Vanity, Brushed Nickel Finish with White Acrylic

The Jess LED large vanity measures 36 inches wide, 4.5 inches high, and projects 2 inches off the wall. Over a 36 inch mirror it runs edge to edge, so if you want the fixture visibly narrower than the mirror you need a wider mirror or a shorter fixture. The 2 inch extension keeps it tight to the wall, which matters in a small bath where a deeper fixture would be in the way of a medicine cabinet door.

It is rated for damp locations and listed for indoor use only, so it is fine for a bathroom with normal shower humidity, including above a tub where it is not taking direct spray. It is not a wet location fixture, so do not put it inside a shower enclosure where water hits it directly, and do not use it outdoors or on a covered porch.

No bulbs to buy. The Jess vanity uses an integrated LED array rated at 30,000 average hours, so there is nothing to lamp at install and nothing to restock for maintenance. The tradeoff is that when the LED module reaches end of life the fixture is replaced rather than relamped, which is worth knowing if you are standardizing across a lot of units.

Yes. The Jess vanity is ADA compliant, and the 2 inch extension is what gets it there: it stays within the projection limit for wall-mounted objects in a circulation path. That makes it usable in multi-family common restrooms, hospitality, and institutional work where surface-mounted fixtures get flagged for protruding too far.

The fixture is dimmable and runs on 120V line voltage at 39W. Because 39W of LED load is far below the minimum load most older incandescent dimmers were built around, an existing rotary or slide dimmer may buzz, flicker, or refuse to dim smoothly. If you are reusing a switch box, plan on a dimmer rated for LED loads.

It puts out 2730 lumens from 39W, which is a substantial output for a single vanity bar and reasonable as the primary light over a double vanity. The 90 CRI rendering is the other half of that: color accuracy at 90 CRI is what makes skin tones read correctly at a mirror, which is the practical difference between a bathroom that works for grooming and one that does not.

No. The Jess 62-1332 is not CCT selectable, so there is no field switch for color temperature. If you are matching this to other fixtures in a building, or you need to pick warm versus neutral white at install, you want a selectable-CCT fixture instead.

It carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian installations, and it is RoHS compliant. The body is steel with a brushed nickel finish and a white acrylic diffuser, and the whole fixture weighs 4.25 lbs, light enough to land on a standard wall box with the supplied mounting strap on drywall.

It is a wall-mount fixture at 36 inches long, 4.5 inches tall, with a 2 inch projection. The standard application is horizontal above the mirror. At 36 inches it is too long to be practical as a vertical sconce flanking a typical mirror, so for side-mount lighting use a short vertical bar or a pair of sconces instead.

The 62-1332 is the brushed nickel version of the Jess large vanity, paired with a white acrylic diffuser. That is the single finish this model number covers, so if you are matching chrome or black faucets across a renovation you need a different Jess model number rather than an option on this one.
