NUVO Lighting 62-1458 Orbit, 30W LED Pendant, Black Finish

The Orbit pendant hangs on three 12 ft cables plus one 12 ft (144 inch) power wire, giving a maximum overall height of 150 inches. Cable-suspended fixtures like this are field-cut or field-adjusted at the gripper, so you set the drop you need on site. The fixture body itself is only 4.38 inches tall, so almost all of that 150 inches is adjustable suspension.

No. The Orbit 30W pendant is rated for dry locations and indoor use only, so a covered exterior patio, a shower area, or any damp-rated location is out of scope. Use it in dry interior spaces, dining rooms, lobbies, conference rooms, open stairwells.

Yes, the Orbit 30W pendant is dimmable. It runs on 120V line voltage with an integrated LED driver, so it pairs with a forward- or reverse-phase dimmer rated for LED loads. At 30W per fixture you can gang a number of them on one dimmer, but size the dimmer to the LED wattage rating rather than its incandescent rating.

No. The light source is an integrated LED, not a lamp in a socket, so there is nothing to relamp. Rated life is 30,000 hours, which is roughly 10 years at 8 hours a day. For MRO buyers standardizing a building, that means budgeting fixture replacement rather than lamp stock.

The Orbit puts out 1700 lumens at 30W, which reads as accent or decorative-layer light rather than a primary ambient source. Over a standard dining table or a small huddle room it carries the space on its own; in a conference room or lobby you will want it paired with downlights or run in multiples. CRI is 90, so color rendering is high enough for retail display, hospitality, and food-service areas.

No, CCT is fixed on the 62-1458. It is not a field-selectable fixture, so if you are matching existing pendants in a space you need to confirm the color temperature of what is already installed before mixing. Buying a run of the same model keeps the color consistent across the installation.

It carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and the fixture is RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure on this item identifies lead, which matters if you are submitting product data on a California project.

The fixture ships with its three 12 ft suspension cables and a 12 ft supply wire, so the hanging hardware is covered. On site you still need a fixture-rated ceiling outlet box, the branch circuit at 120V, wire connectors, and an LED-rated dimmer if the space is being dimmed. No lamps to order, the LED is integrated.

Steel construction with a black finish, in a contemporary ring form. Black is the only finish offered on the 62-1458, so if a job calls for brushed nickel or brass to match existing trim, this is not the fixture to specify.
