NUVO Lighting 62-1572 12W, 9in, LED Carport Flush Mount Fixture, 3000K, Dimmable, Black Finish with Frosted Glass

The 62-1572 is an outdoor fixture with a Damp location rating, so it belongs under cover: carport ceilings, covered porches, soffits, breezeways. It is ceiling mount only. Damp rated means it tolerates moisture and condensation but not direct rain or hose spray, so an open, unprotected location calls for a wet rated fixture instead.

Output is 1000 lumens at 12 watts, 3000K warm white, with a CRI of 90. That lumen output is in the range of a 75 watt incandescent, so it swaps in for a typical older carport or porch light while drawing a fraction of the power. The LED is integrated, so there is no lamp to buy or replace later.

The fixture body measures 9.19 inches long by 9.2 inches wide and projects 5.2 inches down from the ceiling. It weighs 2.76 lbs, light enough for a standard 4 inch octagon or round outlet box with no extra bracing. Check the 5.2 inch drop against low carport soffits where vehicle doors or roof racks swing.

It runs on 120V line voltage and is dimmable, so it can go on a dimmed circuit for covered parking or entry areas where you want to drop levels overnight. The driver and LED are integrated, so use a dimmer rated for LED loads. Color temperature is fixed at 3000K, not field selectable.

The fixture carries a cETLus safety listing, covering both US and Canadian requirements, and it is RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead, which matters if you are specifying into a California project with disclosure requirements.

Rated life is 50,000 hours on the integrated LED. Run roughly 12 hours a night on a photocell or timer, that is over a decade before output falls off. There is no socket and no lamp, so when the LED does reach end of life the whole fixture gets replaced rather than relamped, which is the tradeoff against a socketed fixture in a large property fleet.

Steel housing in a black finish with a frosted glass diffuser. The frost spreads the light and hides the LED hot spots, so it reads as an even glow rather than a point source, which is why it suits traditional style covered entries and carports more than a bare utility jelly jar would.
