The 62-1565 carries a Damp location rating and is listed for indoor use, so a bathroom ceiling or a covered porch soffit is within its rating. Damp does not cover direct water contact, so it should not go inside a shower enclosure or anywhere exposed to spray or weather. For those spots you need a wet-rated fixture.
