NUVO Lighting 62-459 Pi, 11in, Flush Mount LED Fixture, Brushed Nickel Finish with Etched Glass

The Pi 11 inch flush mount carries a damp location rating and is listed for indoor use, so it's fine for a bathroom ceiling, covered laundry room, or similar humid indoor space. It is not wet rated, so don't put it directly in a shower spray zone or any outdoor location, even a covered porch.

No bulbs to buy. The Pi uses an integrated LED board rated at 50,000 average hours, so there is no socket or lamp to replace. When the LED reaches end of life the whole fixture gets swapped. That's the tradeoff versus a socketed close-to-ceiling fixture: no relamping labor for years, but no field-replaceable lamp either.

Yes, the Pi is a dimmable 120V fixture at 25W. Because the LED driver is integrated, pair it with a dimmer rated for LED loads rather than an old incandescent rotary, and keep the total connected load well inside the dimmer's LED rating. Note it is not CCT selectable, so the color temperature is fixed; dimming changes level, not color.

It's a ceiling-mounted fixture that installs to the outlet box with the supplied crossbar hardware. At 8.74 pounds with a steel base, it is within the 50 pound limit of a standard listed ceiling outlet box, so no fan-rated box or extra bracing is needed. If the existing box is loose or a pancake box on furring, secure it before hanging the fixture.

At 2125 lumens from 25W, the Pi puts out roughly what a pair of 75W incandescents used to, spread through frosted etched glass. That covers a hall, entry, walk-in closet, laundry, or a small bedroom or bath on a single fixture. For a larger room or a kitchen work area, plan on multiple units or supplement with task lighting. CRI is 90, so colors and finishes read accurately, which matters in bathrooms and closets.

The Pi carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, so it's acceptable for apartment corridors, unit interiors, offices, and similar indoor commercial spaces where an inspector wants a listed luminaire. Keep it to dry and damp indoor locations per its damp rating.

Yes. The Pi is identified as containing lead under California Proposition 65. That's a disclosure requirement, common on metal-bodied luminaires, and it matters if you're buying for a California jobsite where the warning has to accompany the product.
