    1) Will the NUVO SF76-606 flush mount work in a bathroom or over a covered porch?
    The SF76-606 is a damp location rated fixture, but it is classified for indoor use. That makes it acceptable for a bathroom ceiling or an enclosed, covered area where it never sees direct water, and not acceptable for an exposed exterior location. For an open soffit or anywhere rain can reach, you need a wet rated fixture instead.
    2) What bulbs does the NUVO SF76-606 take, and are they included?
    Two bulbs, E26 medium base, A19 shape, at 60W maximum each. Bulbs are not supplied, so order lamps separately. Any standard A19 medium base lamp in that wattage ceiling works, including LED or CFL equivalents.
    3) Will the SF76-606 mount to a standard ceiling junction box?
    It is a ceiling mounted close-to-ceiling fixture at 4 lbs, wired for 120V. At that weight it hangs from a standard ceiling outlet box with the supplied mounting hardware, no fan-rated or heavy-duty box needed.
    4) Is the NUVO SF76-606 UL listed, and does it carry a Prop 65 warning?
    The fixture is cULus safety listed, which covers both US and Canadian installations, and it is RoHS compliant. It does carry a California Prop 65 warning for lead, which matters if you are specifying for a California project and need the disclosure in your submittal package.
    5) Is the NUVO SF76-606 glass clear or frosted, and how many pieces are there?
    One shade, one piece of glass, in a clear ribbed finish. Clear ribbed means you will see the lamp filaments through it and get a brighter, more sparkled light than a frosted or opal diffuser would give. If you want the bulbs hidden in a bedroom or an office ceiling, pick a white or alabaster glass instead.
    6) Is the NUVO SF76-606 body metal or plastic, and what finish does it come in?
    Steel body in an Old Bronze finish, in a traditional style. Steel holds up better than resin trim in rental turns and corridors, and Old Bronze is the finish to match if the rest of the openings and fixtures in the building are already oil-rubbed or dark bronze.
    7) Does the NUVO SF76-606 have selectable color temperature?
    No. It has no integrated LED and no CCT selector switch. Light color is set entirely by the two A19 lamps you install, so if you are standardizing a building on one color temperature, buy the bulbs in bulk at the CCT you want.
