NUVO Lighting SF77-122 1-Light, 6in, Ceiling Fixture, Clear Bottom Squat Ball, Polished Brass Finish

The SF77-122 is an indoor fixture with a Damp location rating, so it will hold up in a bathroom or a covered laundry area where humidity is present. It is not rated for wet locations, so keep it out of direct spray inside a shower enclosure and off uncovered exterior ceilings.

It takes one standard A19 incandescent lamp with an E26 medium base, rated up to 60W at 120V. No bulb is supplied, so order lamps separately. Dimming depends entirely on the lamp you install and the switch it is wired to, since the fixture itself has no driver.

Yes. The socket is an E26 medium base sized for an A19 lamp, which is the same base and shape used by common LED A19 replacements. Stay at or below the 60W rating, which an LED A19 does easily on actual draw. If you want dimming, pair a dimmable LED with a compatible dimmer, because the fixture contributes nothing to dimming performance.

It carries a cULus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, so it can be specified on jobs in either country. The fixture is also RoHS compliant.

It is a ceiling mount fixture weighing 1.64 lbs, so a standard ceiling outlet box carries it with no supplemental bracing or fan-rated box needed. The steel base keeps the canopy rigid for repeated lamp changes in rental turnover work.

The single glass shade is frosted with a clear bottom. The frosted body diffuses the glare across the sides while the open clear bottom lets direct light down, so you get usable task light below the fixture rather than a fully diffused glow. The squat ball profile with a polished brass holder reads traditional, which matters when you are matching existing brass trim in an older building.

Yes. Lead is identified as the Prop 65 chemical of concern for this fixture. Institutional and government buyers who require Prop 65 documentation in submittals should carry that disclosure through to their package.

No. It is an incandescent-technology fixture with a lamp socket and no CCT selection. The color temperature you get is whatever lamp you screw in, which actually makes standardizing easy across a building: buy one bulb spec and every fixture matches.

Order it as NUVO Lighting SF77-122, also printed as SF77/122, in Polished Brass. Polished Brass is the only finish offered on this model, so there is no finish option to specify.
