The SF77-125 carries a Damp location rating and is classified as an indoor fixture, so it can go in a bathroom, over a tub area outside the direct spray zone, or a laundry room. You supply the lamp. The SF77-125 takes one A19 medium base (E26) bulb rated up to 60W on 120V, and no bulb ships with the fixture. Any standard A19 in that base works, incandescent or an LED equivalent, as long as you stay at or under the 60W rating. Order lamps separately when you order the fixture.

Small footprint. The fixture is 5 inches in diameter and 5.5 inches high, so it covers a 5 inch circle on the ceiling and projects 5.5 inches below it. That makes it usable in a closet, a small hall, a stair landing, or a low-ceiling basement where a drum or bowl fixture would be in the way. At 5 inches diameter it will not cover a large existing ceiling patch or an oversized old canopy ring, so check what the fixture you are removing left behind.

Dimming on the SF77-125 is lamp dependent. The fixture itself has no driver or integrated LED, it is an incandescent-technology socket fixture, so whether it dims comes down to the A19 bulb you install. A standard incandescent A19 dims on an ordinary forward-phase dimmer; a non-dimmable LED A19 will not. If you are standardizing dimmed rooms across a building, specify a dimmable LED A19 with the fixture order.

Polished brass only, part number SF77/125. The glass is clear pineapple pattern, a traditional cut-glass look, so it reads as a period or traditional-style opening rather than contemporary. If you are re-lamping a corridor or a run of closets and the existing trim is polished brass, this matches across the whole run since only one finish exists on the model.
