Yes. The SF77-153 is an outdoor fixture with a Wet location rating, so it can go in spots exposed to direct rain and spray, such as open soffits, breezeways, dock canopies and exterior stairwell ceilings. It is cULus safety listed.

It takes one A19 lamp with an E26 medium screw base, and no bulb ships with the fixture, so order lamps separately. Maximum wattage is 60W at 120V. The fixture itself has no driver, so dimming depends entirely on the lamp you install, and a standard incandescent or a dimmable LED A19 will dim on a compatible dimmer while a non-dimmable LED will not.

The fixture is 7.25 inches high with a 6 inch diameter, so figure on about 7-1/4 inches of drop below the finished ceiling and a 6 inch footprint. That makes it workable under low soffits and in low-headroom utility spaces where a pendant or lantern would be in the way.

The SF77-153 has a 6 inch diameter canopy area, which is wider than a standard 4 inch octagon or round ceiling box, so it covers the box opening on a typical ceiling-mounted outdoor rough-in. If you are replacing a larger fixture that left an oversized cut or unpainted ring in the soffit, the 6 inch body may not hide it.

The body is aluminum, which does not rust the way a steel housing will in a wet exterior location, and the shade is a single white glass globe. Total weight is 1.73 lbs, so it hangs light on a standard ceiling box. For high-traffic corridors where glass gets broken, a polycarbonate-globe utility fixture is the better call.

Ceiling mount only. It is built as a flush ceiling fixture, so it is the right part for soffits, canopies and porch ceilings, not for a wall-mounted jamb-up or sconce position. For a wall location you need an outdoor wall-mount fixture instead.

One finish only: Bronzotic, a dark bronze-tone exterior finish, paired with a white glass globe. If you are standardizing soffit lighting across a property and the existing fixtures are white or satin nickel, this one will not match.

The fixture is RoHS compliant and carries a California Prop 65 warning for lead. Institutional and government buyers who need the Prop 65 disclosure on submittals should note that.
