    1) Will this NUVO track head work outdoors or in a covered patio?
    No. The TH308 is an indoor, dry location rated fixture only. Keep it out of bathrooms with open showers, covered exterior soffits, and any spot exposed to moisture, and use a damp or wet rated head in those locations instead.
    2) Is the TH308 a complete fixture or do I need track and a power feed too?
    It is a track head only, a single-lamp straight cylinder that mounts to ceiling-installed track. You supply the track sections, connectors, and live end or power feed. One head covers one lamp position, so count your positions and order that many.
    3) Can I put the NUVO TH308 track head on a dimmer?
    Dimming is lamp dependent on the TH308. The head itself has no driver or electronics, it is a straight 120V medium-base socket for an incandescent R30, so whether it dims comes down to the lamp you install. An incandescent or halogen R30 will dim on a standard incandescent dimmer; a screw-in LED R30 only dims if that lamp is rated dimmable and matched to the dimmer.
    4) How much does the NUVO TH308 track head stick down from the ceiling, and how big is it?
    Extension is 10 inches, which is how far the head hangs below the track once mounted. The body measures 7 inches long by 4.5 inches wide by 4.5 inches high and weighs just under a pound (0.98 lbs). In a retail or gallery space with low ceilings, that 10 inch drop plus the track height is the number to check against your clearance.
    5) Is the NUVO TH308 track head safety listed for commercial installation?
    It carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian requirements, and it is RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 disclosure for lead, which matters if you are buying for a California jobsite and have to pass that notice along.
