    1) Can this forged track head be used in a covered exterior walkway or a bathroom?
    No. The TH492 is rated for dry locations and indoor use only. Covered exterior soffits, walkways, parking structures, and shower or tub zones need a damp or wet rated fixture instead. Dry interior retail, gallery, lobby, and residential ceilings are where this head belongs.
    2) Does the NUVO TH492 carry a safety listing for commercial installation?
    The TH492 is cETLus listed, which covers both US and Canadian safety requirements, and it is RoHS compliant. Note the California Prop 65 content listing for lead, which matters if you are specifying for a California facility and need to pass that disclosure through.
    3) Can I switch the color temperature on the TH492, or is it fixed?
    Fixed. The TH492 is not CCT selectable, so there is no field switch for color temperature. If you are adding heads to an existing run and need them to match, confirm the color temperature of what is already installed before you order, because you cannot adjust this one after the fact.

    Brushed nickel is the only finish on the TH492, and the body is aluminum. Aluminum housings help pull heat off an integrated LED, which is part of what supports the 30,000 hour rated life. If you need black or white heads to match an existing track run, this model will not get you there.
