NUVO Lighting TK321 3 Light, R30, Step Cylinder Track Kit, 4 foot Track, Black

The TK321 kit ships with one TR121 4-foot track section, one TP155 floating power feed, three TH207 track heads, and all required mounting hardware. The only thing you add is lamps: bulbs are not included, and each head takes an R30 reflector lamp with a medium E26 base, up to 75W. Hard-wiring to a 120V branch circuit is on you as well, since the power feed is a floating feed rather than a cord-and-plug.

No on both counts. The TK321 is a ceiling-mount kit rated for indoor, dry locations only, so it should not go in a breezeway, a covered patio, or a bathroom with shower steam. Keep it to conditioned interior spaces: retail, offices, hallways, apartment living areas. For a damp or wet area you need a fixture carrying a damp or wet location rating instead.

It carries a cETLus safety listing, which covers both US and Canadian installations, and NUVO lists it as ADA compliant. It is also RoHS compliant. One thing to flag for spec packages: the kit carries a California Proposition 65 warning for lead.

Figure on 9.5 inches of extension from the mounting surface once a head is installed, and each head body measures 6.25 x 4.5 x 4.5 inches. In a low basement or a space with a soffit you want to confirm that 9.5 inch drop doesn't put the heads in the path of a door swing or a shelf run. Total kit weight is 5.88 lbs, light enough that the supplied hardware handles it in a standard ceiling.

The kit is built around the TR121 4-foot track and the TP155 floating power feed that ship with it, so the clean install is to use the supplied track. The TH207 heads are NUVO track heads matched to that TR121 system; if you have an existing run from another manufacturer, check the connector type against the TH207 before assuming it drops in. Buyers extending a run typically add matching NUVO track sections and couplers rather than mixing systems.

Black is the finish on the TK321 kit, covering the 4-foot track, the power feed, and all three step cylinder heads. The housings are glass and metal construction in a traditional style, so the look matches older retail and hospitality interiors more than a flat contemporary one.

NUVO publishes both. The installation instruction PDF is hosted at assets.satco.com under the TK321 product folder, and the full spec sheet is at media.satco.com/specsheets/pdf/TK321.pdf. Electricians pulling a permit or submitting a spec package will want the spec sheet for the cETLus listing and the 120V, 75W per head ratings.
