The TP219 is the piece that brings 120V power into a track section from a ceiling outlet box. It mounts over the box, covers it with a canopy, and feeds the track electrically. 2) Will the TP219 canopy cover a standard ceiling junction box?
The canopy measures 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches with a 1 inch height, which covers a typical round or octagonal ceiling outlet box. If you are working with an oversized or square 4-11/16 box, measure before you order, because the canopy is square at 4.5 inches and will not hide anything wider than that.
