1) Will Oatey 30237 silicone sealant stick to a porcelain tub or a fiberglass shower surround?
Yes. Oatey 30237 is a 100% silicone sealant that bonds to porcelain, ceramic, marble, fiberglass and most metals, so tub decks, shower pans and surrounds are all in scope. It stays permanently elastic after cure, which matters on a fiberglass unit that flexes when someone steps into it.
2) Can I use this silicone on ABS or PVC plastic drain parts?
The 30237 white silicone is safe for use on plastic, including ABS. That makes it usable around plastic tub shoes, escutcheons and fixture bodies where a non-plastic-safe sealant would be a risk.
