Orca Hardware 4855 Blakely Euro Toilet Paper Holder

The Orca 4855 Blakely is a wall-mounted euro-style (open-end) paper holder in zinc with concealed mounting screws. The closest cross-brand matches in style are the Sure-Loc Baden Wall Mounted Euro Paper Holder (BD-PH1) and the Sure-Loc Boulder Wall Mounted Euro Paper Holder (BL-PH1), both wall-mounted euro holders. The difference between the two Sure-Loc options is the design series - Baden versus Boulder - so pick whichever matches the rest of the bath trim on the job.

The Orca 4855 Blakely is a euro-style holder with an open end, so the roll slides on and off without removing a spindle. If the washroom needs a two-post holder with a spindle captured at both ends - common where roll pilferage is a concern - look at the Sure-Loc Basic 2-Post Paper Holder (BA-PH) or the Deltana 98C2001, a classic double post holder in solid brass.

The Orca Hardware 4855 Blakely is a Euro (open arm) paper holder: it mounts to the wall on one post and the roll slides on and off the open end, so there is no spring-loaded roller to fuss with. A two-post holder like the Sure-Loc Basic 2-Post Paper Holder captures the roll between two brackets on a removable roller instead. For multi-family turns and high-traffic washrooms the open arm is faster to reload; the two-post style is harder for a roll to be knocked off.

Four orderable finishes on the 4855: Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Matte Black, and Oil-Rubbed Bronze. If you are standardizing a building, pick the finish that matches the lever and bath hardware already on the other units, since the Blakely line is built as a coordinating collection.

Orca lists the 4855 Blakely as commercial grade, so it is intended for hotel, office, and multi-family washrooms as well as homes. The body is zinc rather than plastic, which is what you want where a roll gets yanked on all day.

No. The 4855 uses concealed mounting screws, so the fasteners hide behind the post once the escutcheon is set. Installation is the usual approach for a wall-mount bath accessory: anchor the mounting bracket to the wall, then slip the post over it and tighten the set screw underneath.

Two direct Euro-style alternatives are the Sure-Loc Baden Wall Mounted Euro Paper Holder and the Sure-Loc Boulder Wall Mounted Euro Paper Holder. Both are open-arm wall mount like the Orca 4855, so the reload behavior is the same; the difference is the styling of the post and escutcheon. If you want a post-and-roller instead, the Sure-Loc Brighton is a single post design.

The Orca 4855 Blakely is a euro holder - a wall-mounted arm that the roll loads onto from the open end. A single post holder such as the Sure-Loc Brighton (BT-PH1), the Deltana 55D2001 in solid brass, or the Deltana BBN2001 uses one projecting post rather than a bar-and-arm assembly, which gives a smaller wall footprint. All are wall-mounted paper holders; the choice is a matter of the look you are matching and how far the unit projects into the room.

The Orca 4855 Blakely body is zinc. If the specification calls for solid brass, Deltana offers solid brass paper holders including the 55D2001 single post, the 88DTPH in the 88 Series, and the 98C2001 double post. Emtek's bar-style paper holders are also offered in brass across the Modern, Traditional and Transitional bath hardware series, plus a Sandcast Bronze version.

Not a direct one. Emtek's paper holders - Modern Brass, Traditional Brass, Transitional Brass and Sandcast Bronze - are bar style, meaning the roll rides on a spindle between two mounted supports. The Orca 4855 Blakely is a euro holder, a single wall-mounted arm with an open end. The mounting points and wall footprint differ, so swapping one for the other on an existing installation usually means new holes and patching.

Yes. The 4855 belongs to Orca's 48-Blakely Series, a coordinated bath accessory collection, so the towel bar, ring, and robe hook in the same Blakely series share the post and escutcheon design. Order all of them in one finish (Satin Nickel, Polished Chrome, Matte Black, or Oil-Rubbed Bronze) to keep the washroom consistent.

It works as a replacement wherever the existing holder is wall-mounted, but the mounting bracket almost never lines up with the old anchor holes, so expect to patch and re-anchor. If the old unit was a two-post type, the Euro arm on the 4855 changes how the roll loads, which tenants notice. Where you are replacing several units, buy them all in one finish so the building stays uniform.

The Orca 4855 Blakely is a commercial-rated euro paper holder offered in Matte Black, Polished Chrome, Oil-Rubbed Bronze and Satin Nickel, with concealed mounting screws so the wall plate reads clean across a fleet of units. If you want a different silhouette across the same property, the Sure-Loc Baden and Boulder are also wall-mounted euro holders, and the Sure-Loc Basic 2-Post is the double post alternative.
