Orca Hardware 9155 Waldron Euro Toilet Paper Holder

It is a euro style holder, meaning the roll loads onto a single open arm rather than sitting on a spring rod between two posts. There is no tension rod to lose or replace, which is why euro holders get used in rental and hospitality washrooms. If you want the traditional two post look instead, the Sure-Loc Basic 2-Post Paper Holder or the Deltana 98C Series classic double post are that style.

The Orca 9155 is a euro-style (open-end, drop-in roll) wall mounted paper holder. The closest same-style peers are the Sure-Loc Baden Wall Mounted Euro Paper Holder (SUR-BD-PH1) and the Sure-Loc Boulder Wall Mounted Euro Paper Holder (SUR-BL-PH1), both euro wall mounted holders in their respective Baden and Boulder bath collections. Differences come down to collection styling and the finish range each carries, since all three do the same job at the wall.

The Orca 9155 Waldron is a euro open-arm holder, so the roll slides on from the open end rather than riding on a spindle. For a post-and-roller arrangement, the Sure-Loc Basic 2-Post Paper Holder (SUR-BA-PH) and the Deltana 98C2001 Classic Double Post holder are double-post designs, and the Sure-Loc Brighton (SUR-BT-PH1), Deltana 55D2001 (55D Series) and Deltana BBN2001 (BBN Series) are single post holders.

Three: polished chrome, satin nickel, and oil rubbed bronze. If you are standardizing a floor of units, pick the finish that matches the rest of the Waldron collection trim so the towel bars and robe hooks read the same.

Zinc. That is a cast metal body rather than solid brass, so it takes a plated finish well and holds up in a washroom. Buyers who specifically want solid brass should look at the Deltana 55D Series single post or the Deltana 88 Series holder, both listed as solid brass.

No. The 9155 uses concealed mounting screws, so the post mounts to a wall plate and the escutcheon covers the fasteners. Nothing shows on the finished face, which is what you want in a guest bath or a leased unit where exposed screws get picked at.

Orca lists the 9155 as commercial. It suits multi-family, hospitality, and office washrooms as well as residential baths, so a property manager can spec one part across a mixed portfolio.

Two direct alternatives in the same open arm euro format are the Sure-Loc Baden wall mounted euro paper holder and the Sure-Loc Boulder wall mounted euro paper holder. Emtek also offers bar style paper holders in Modern Brass, Traditional Brass, Transitional Brass, and Sandcast Bronze if you want the roll carried on a bar rather than a single post.

It is a substitute in function, not in material. The Orca 9155 Waldron is zinc with concealed mounting screws. If solid brass is specified for the job, the Deltana 88DTPH (88 Series), Deltana 55D2001 (55D Series) and Deltana 98C2001 (98C Series) are solid brass paper holders. Mounting patterns are not interchangeable between brands, so plan on new anchor points when swapping.

They are different form factors. The Emtek paper holders are bar style, offered across the Modern Brass, Transitional Brass, Traditional Brass and Sandcast Bronze bath hardware collections, so the roll hangs on a bar spanning two posts. The Orca 9155 Waldron is a euro holder with a single open arm. Functionally either works, but on a run of matched washrooms pick one style throughout rather than mixing.

The Orca 9155 Waldron is a commercial-rated euro holder stocked in polished chrome, satin nickel and oil rubbed bronze, so one part number covers three common finish schedules. If the spec leans to a cast bronze look instead, the Emtek Sandcast Bronze Paper Holder is a bar-style holder in the Sandcast Bronze bath hardware collection. The Waldron also belongs to a broader 91-Waldron series if you want matching bath accessories across the units.

It belongs to the Orca 91 Waldron series, so it is designed to sit alongside the other Waldron bath accessories in the same finish. If your existing hardware is from another line or another brand, match on finish name (polished chrome, satin nickel, or oil rubbed bronze) rather than assuming the styling carries over.
