Hammond Manufacturing CWAD12 – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the CWAD12 work with a back panel other than 12 x 12?
No. The CWAD12 is sized for a 12 x 12 panel. For a different panel size you need the matching adaptor in Hammond's CWAD series rather than this one.
2) What is the Hammond CWAD12 panel adaptor used for?
The CWAD12 is a 12 x 12 panel adaptor from Hammond Manufacturing, ordered under part number CWAD12. It adapts a 12 x 12 back panel into an enclosure opening, so the panel you already have can be mounted rather than replaced.
3) Is the Hammond CWAD12 adaptor RoHS and REACH compliant for a spec-driven job?
Both. The CWAD12 is listed RoHS compliant and REACH compliant, which covers the substance-restriction line items most institutional and government submittals ask for on electrical enclosure accessories.
4) Where is the Hammond CWAD12 panel adaptor made, and does it qualify under USMCA?
Made in Canada, and it is USMCA compliant. That matters on federal and utility work where domestic or trade-agreement sourcing has to be documented on the submittal.
