That's what the 277 saddle threshold is built around. It's a latching panic saddle, so the bottom rod of a surface applied vertical rod exit device latches into it, and the integrated gasket seals the door bottom at the same time. If your pair or single has an SVR device with a bottom rod, this is the matching threshold. If you've pulled the bottom rod (an LBR setup) or you're running a rim device, the 277 still functions as a plain stop and seal, you just won't be using the latching feature.
2) How much clearance do I need under the door for a Pemko 277 saddle threshold?
The 277 is a 7/8 inch high threshold that accommodates 5/8 inch door clearance.
