3) How does the Pemko 3261 nosing fasten down? Do I need to drill the concrete?
No drilling. The 3261 is set in mastic adhesive and then held by the weight and pressure of the threshold sitting on top of its horizontal leg. 5) Can I use one piece of 3261 nosing across a pair of doors?
Yes, one continuous run is the better install on a pair. The extrusion goes to 185 inches, which covers a pair of 36 inch doors plus frame with plenty to trim off, and a single mitered length avoids a seam sitting right at the traffic point between the two leaves. Order the 72 inch and cut to the measured opening.
6) Will the 3261 nosing cover a chipped concrete sub-sill on an older building?
That is what it is for. The L profile drops a 1-1/2 inch face over the front edge of the sub-sill, hiding spalled concrete, chipped corners, or weathered wood without patching or pouring. On apartment turnovers and school or healthcare maintenance work it is the fast fix for an ugly sill edge. Measure the exposed face first though, since anything taller than 1-1/2 inches will still show below the nosing.
