    Poor Design, Machining and Instructions

    While I appreciate the quality materials and design concept, this product is disappointing for several reasons making for a frustrating experience and poor appearance. 1. Poor end plate design: the design requires the end plates to be affixed by driving tiny precision screws with no threading making it difficult if not impossible to drive the screws flush and stripping the painted screws. Furthermore, the end plates are a different size than the main housing, and the placement of the screws allow the interior mechanism to push the end piece away from the housing which looks bad and put into question the longevity of the piece. 2. Poor machining: There is a poorly machined hole with a rough opening 3. Poor instructions: The end plates for some reason have their own separate instructions when they need to be integrated for accurate measurements and placement of the main part. The end plate instructions say the door bottom must be installed first before you install the plates, but you couldn't do that without having the end plates on first to measure for placement - it's like a circular reference.
