The Powr-Fish 31-344 is a continuous-fiber polyline, which is what makes it work with a blower or vacuum system, you send the line straight down the conduit run and pull your rope or cable behind it. Continuous fiber also means the strand does not break up under air pressure the way a spun or chopped line can. The bucket holds 2,200 feet, so a crew can shoot several runs off one container without respooling.

That is the intended use for the Powr-Fish line. It can be left in the conduit as a permanent drag line, and because it will not rot or mildew, it survives sitting in a damp underground or slab-embedded raceway for years.
