1) Can I run WES-2512 marker sheets through a laser or inkjet printer?
No. WES labels are made for standard dot matrix printers, and the sheet is a 9.5 x 12 inch tractor-feed size. Feeding them through a laser printer is the wrong tool for this label. If your shop has moved off dot matrix, you want a thermal transfer or laser-rated wire marker instead of the WES series.
2) Will printed wire tags hold up in a mechanical room with oil and washdown?
That is what the self-laminating construction is for. After you print the legend in the 2 x 1 inch area, the clear 1 mil polyester tail wraps over the printing and shields it from oils, grease, water, chemicals, and general dirt. The adhesive is a strong one meant to stay put on wire, so the tag does not unwind in a panel or a pull box.
3) Is there an order minimum on WES-2512 wire marker sheets?
They go in multiples of 25. The order multiple is 25 and the inner package is 25 sheets, so quantities are counted in full packs rather than single sheets. A full outer carton runs 750.
4) Are Thomas & Betts WES-2512 markers RoHS compliant for a spec job?
