Pro-Lok AO-20 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What is the Pro-Lok AO-20 Slide Jim used for?
The AO-20 Slide Jim is a car opening tool. It is a slide lock tool used to work a vehicle's lock linkage through the door, and Pro-Lok classes it as a long reach automotive tool rather than building door hardware.
2) Is the Pro-Lok Slide Jim a professional locksmith tool or a consumer item?
Pro-Lok lists the AO-20 Slide Jim as commercial grade, which is how it is sold to locksmiths, roadside service operators and fleet shops doing vehicle lockouts rather than as a homeowner item.
3) Is the Pro-Lok Slide Jim the same thing as a long reach tool kit?
Not the same. The AO-20 is a single slide lock tool in Pro-Lok's long reach automotive family, ordered as one model with no size or length options, so it is a standalone tool and not a multi-piece car opening kit. If you want wedges, an air bag and a lighted probe as well, you are looking for a full lockout kit instead.
4) How do I order the Pro-Lok Slide Jim - are there different lengths or finishes?
One configuration only. The Slide Jim ships as model AO-20 with no length, finish or handing choice to specify, so the order is just the model number and quantity.
How fast can I get the Pro-Lok AO-20 delivered?

U.S.
