The Pro-Lok standard key identifiers come in six colors: blue, red, yellow, green, purple and light blue. That gives a property manager or locksmith six distinct codes to work with, which is usually enough to separate keys by building, floor, or function without adding tags or stamping.
3) How many Pro-Lok key identifiers come in a pack?
Three pack formats are offered: retail cards holding 6 identifiers each, sold 5 cards at a time (30 pieces), a bulk bag of 200, and a plastic drum of 200. For a locksmith counter the retail cards are the resale format; for an in-house maintenance shop coding a whole key board, the 200-count bag or drum is the one to order.
4) Are these key covers or just the bow?
They cover the head of the key only, not the blade. The rubber identifier slips over the bow so the cut portion stays exposed and the key still enters the cylinder normally. If you need something that protects the blade or houses the whole key, this is not that part.
