1) Can I land MC cable directly into the RACO 213 box without buying connectors?
Yes. The RACO 213 4 in. square box has built-in clamps for Armored Cable, Metal Clad, MCI-A and Flex, so those cables terminate right at the box with no separate connector. That is the main reason to pick the clamped version over a plain box: on an MC homerun feeding several devices you save a connector and a locknut per entry.
2) Does the RACO 213 come with a mounting bracket or do I need to fasten it myself?
No bracket. The 213 ships as a bare welded box, so you are mounting it through the back or side holes to a stud, strut, or surface, or hanging it on the conduit. If you want a box that nails straight to a stud face at drywall depth, you need a bracketed 4-square, not this one.
