It transitions 3 inch no hub pipe down to 2 inch, which is the common step when a 3 inch DWV branch picks up a 2 inch lavatory, sink, or floor drain run. Both ends are no hub, so it goes between cast iron or plastic no hub pipe ends and is held with no hub couplings.
2) Do I need to order couplings separately for a 3x2 no hub reducer?
Yes. A no hub reducer is a bare hubless fitting with plain spigot ends, so each joint needs its own no hub coupling, one sized for the 3 inch side and one for the 2 inch side. Couplings are not part of the reducer.
3) Is the Watts Blueline 3x2 no hub reducer Buy American Act compliant for a government job?
